Coach Whippy gave all players court time and used this to make his final selection on the starters for the game on Monday against Spain.  The younger brigade in Bulou Tuisue, Brittany Hazelman, Ofa Moce and Letava Whippy all contributed well.  It was also pleasing to see the “netballers” in Matila Waqandrola and Lusi Robanakadavu fit in well to the team play.

The Fijian got off to a flying start but in the last few minutes of the 1st quarter blew the lead and finished just 6 points ahead.  With the score for the second quarter being just one point the difference, Fiji went to the half time interval ahead by 39-32.

The 3rd quarter was a big one for Fiji winning this 30-12 but unfortunately they coasted in the final quarter to lose this 10-12.  However, with the final score of 79 – 56, the Fiji team got a resounding victory.
