Suva/Laucala Basketball Association elects office bearers
National Men's Captain Leonard Whippy commonly known by his team mates as Leo was unanimously elected as the President of the Suva/Laucala Basketball Association during the AGM held on Saturday 6th of March from 12pm - 1.30pm at the Vodafone Arena. Leonard will be assisted by Semesa Seruvatu (Rep of the Idaman Men’s Club) as the Vice- President, Secretary Nunia Moce (Rep of Knights Women) and Treasurer Malvin Chong (Rep of Newly formed men’s club team Air Iguanas). Furthermore 5 committee members was also elected including basketball powerhouse names such as Basketball Fiji Development Officer Laisiasa Puamau, National Men’s Reps David Whippy (Shaq Attaq) and Koli Matalau (Idaman). Basketball Fiji would like to offer our support, and wish the Suva/ Laucala Basketball Association the very best in their 2010 basketball campaign.
