Jai Narayan on track

Jai Narayan College recorded the biggest win in the boys’ division for the Tuckers Central Schools basketball competition at Ed’s court yesterday. Jai Narayan College U17 boys walloped newcomers Cathedral Secondary 16-3.
Fiji Basketball official Mereleni Tora says Jai Narayan has been part of the competition since round one.
“Cathedral Secondary joined the competition last week but for Jai Narayan they have been playing from round one and they have really improved on their basics and skills every week,”Tora said.
“They deserved to win because they have really put in a lot of interests. “Cathedral Secondary needs more time to improve but they will get there if they focus in the remaining two weeks before the national competition in August.”
In the U17 girls, International Secondary School Suva defeated Ratu Sukuna Memorial  24-2.
“ISS have been playing the sport for long and they have a lot of talents whereas RSMS will have to work on a lot of their weak areas to become better.”
