Mighty Mights gun for semis

THE Sky Technologies Raiwaqa basketball tournament pool play resumes tomorrow night at Eds Court as teams battle to seal a place in the semis.

Mighty Mights, Waidonu and Veterans have two wins each and need to continue winning to qualify while Knights and G-Unit are out.

From pool one, Idaman led by national rep Koli Matalau has been the first team to qualify while Bryceland stands a strong chance of finishing second.

Boston is out of the running while Barbarians and Raiwai have slim chances. Raiwaqa Basketball Association is using the tournament as a selection trial for next month's National Christmas Club Championship in Lautoka.

The final round of pool play and semi-finals of the two-week long tournament will be played on Saturday.

Tomorrow's draw

6.30, Bryceland - Raiwai
