Magic's Della-Maddalena faces six week suspension

Mandurah Magic's Brendan Della-Maddalena has pleaded guilty to all charges at the tribunal held on August 12 and has been handed a 16 week (10 suspended) suspension.

The six week suspension will commence on the 27th of February to align with the SBL pre-season blitz meaning Della-Maddalena will then spend the first four weeks of the SBL season on the sidelines.

Della pleaded guilty to four charges after his frustration boiled over in the last quarter of the Magic's game two quarter final match against the Perth Redbacks. Della was ejected from the game after directing abusive and obscene language at lead official Steve Diconza.

That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand.
