Mansfield re-signs with Lakeside
Lakeside Lightning are pleased to announce the re-signing of Head Coach Craig Mansfield for the 2017 WSBL Season.
Craig has done an excellent job this year leading our WSBL Program and we are really excited to be able to confirm that he will be continuing on in 2017. It is important for our program that we have a stable and productive SBL offseason as we continue to build for the future. Craig’s impact has been significant and we really appreciate his professionalism and focus on development across the Lightning Program.
It’s great as a Club to have that certainty and for everyone to know Craig will be continuing to lead our WSBL through next year. This announcement allows us to focus on the rest of this season without any questions about what happens next, now our focus can solely be on the remainder of the season and the upcoming WSBL finals.
In many ways this season has seen a new look Lightning SBL Program, with new Head Coaches in both groups and lots of young players getting opportunities. The future looks bright and we are pleased to have Craig confirmed as an important part of our leadership moving forward.
