Diamonds prep for their first competition

The Diamonds on Thursday 29th December 2011 played in their first competitive scrimmage games amongst themselves. The games were between Dynasty’s all famous Red & White for the U16 Diamonds Scrimmage game and Red & Black for the U19 Diamonds scrimmage game. The Diamonds U16 is a coed team made up both girls and boys. Games were only two 10minutes halves. Both games where impressive considering the fact that players had only been in training together for less than a week. Everybody stepped up to implement the offensive and defensive skills they have been thought over the past days from man to man defense, to cut and replace, zone defense, full court press defense, and zone offense. Players also exhibited their individual talents for which reason they were invited to the team. At the end the first U16 Scrimmage game ended 10 – 15 in favor of the white team and the second game on Friday ended 12 – 27 in favor of the Red Team whiles the first U19 game ended 21 – 14 in favour of the Black team and the second game ending 17 – 8 in favor of the Red Team . The Dynasty Diamonds U16 & 18 will be playing their first competitive games on the 2nd and 3rd of January 2012 at the Gym Rats Tournament wing at the Lincoln Community School.
