TCC Stars win over the Consultants-Ralos

Team Creation, TCC Stars survived another thriller over Consultants-Ralos, 71-67, after a deadlock at 66-all with 39 seconds left in the game as the elimination rounds is almost about to wrap up in the Division-B of Subaru Cup 2012 of Pinoy Basketball Qatar at the Al Gharafa Training Gym.

It was a tight game between the two tough teams all the way ending 21-17 in the first quarter, 37-36 at the half and 51-all at the third quarter but the TCC Stars was more than lucky enough to register its fourth win and one setback sharing with Natsco Garage at 4-0 on top of the standings in Group-1.

Even with the Consultants’ loss, the team also ranked on top of the standings in Group-2.

Edgar Sy of Consultants had give it all but it seems his best, with 24 big points including 10- point personal free throw conversion, was not good enough to lift his team to notch a win.

His team mate and center Plarisan helped Sy with 13 points including two successive three-point baskets to stay close in the first quarter after their coach Manny Suva was slapped with technical foul.

CEG International seems like doing a practice game when they dumped cellar dweller Al Dar Exchange, 85-43, with rising star Tristan Japson, likened to the skills popular Eric Tamayo, contributing 32 points to his team. CEG is catching up with 3-1 record in the Group-2 bracket in the elimination rounds.

QDVC LRT is again back in the win column in another lopsided win over Mowasalat Karwa, 102-77. QDVC’s Kemuel Proceso avenged his team’s loss in the previous week at the hands of QP Dukhan with a superior play of 37 points improving its standing to four wins and two losses.

Dukhan Baller also registered a win by default over Gulf Warehousing in another no show thus maintaining on top of the team standings.
