Dukhan Ballers defeated LBC Kentz 71-61 in the opening match of the TRAVELEX CUP 2013, the Pinoy Basketball of Qatar’s 14th Season, at the Al Gharafa Training Gym last week.
In other games, Power Horse proved too much for Gilas Nahkowh, winning 74-59, while TCC Stars-Gerry’s Grill beat Mindoro Spartan 70-59.
Earlier, Shan Khamarudheen, from title sponsor Travelex Qatar, inaugurated the tournament by performing the ceremonious tossing the ball.
TCC Stars-Gerry’s Grill were selected as the best-dressed team while TFCMI’s Ramilyn Joy Mia was the best muse.
