Asian Club Championships Wrap Up

Saturday was a busy day for players and referees alike.

The Malaysian National Development Tournament had 24 teams running around in the sun and with Open Men, Mixed and Masters Competition keeping the local and international referees more than busy - it was go right from the start!

Congratulations to all the Malaysian based teams that participated - they played many games and from all reports had a lot of competitive fun.

Congratulations to the Open Women Champions 'Tigers' Mont Kiara and runners up RSC Dingoes - well done girls!

It was a close affair in the Open Men's with Bangi Hunters coming out on top of Sajoha in the final. Both teams were all smiles receiving their FIT Touch Malaysia medals.

The Asian Club Championships continued on to Sunday and the action was fast and furious.

The Bobcats Mixed team from Canberra Australia were a hit with all teams - they played every team in the competition and proved to be great sports both on and off the field.

On Sunday afternoon - once they had finished all their games, the Bobcats were back out in the sun assisting with the delivery of a ModTouch clinic and showing the many kids involved some new skills via some Modtouch drills. All had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the experience.....well done Bobcats!

A special thanks to the 26 international referees who travelled from various parts of Australia, Switzerland, Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand to support the many Malaysian officials throughout the tournament.
