Raiwaqa Basketball Players Association supports Members

The Raiwaqa Basketball Players Association is an association committed to the welfare of their community and their various affilated clubs. The association in partnership with the Raiwaqa Bus Company Ltd will be providing transport for their affilated players and clubs who will be participating in the upcoming National Christmas Club Championships. The one day tournament which has been organised by the Lautoka Basketball Asociation in partnership with Basketball Fiji will mark the end of the 2009 basketball season. The inaugrial event will be held at the Lautoka multi-purpose courts on Saturday the 12th December, 2009. The championships will feature 13 men's and 7 women's team. From this number of teams, Raiwaqa will be represented by six men's and three women's teams. The teams are Waidonu, Byrceland, Idaman, Boston, Mighty Mights, Veterans, Wed C, Golden Bati and Chosen (X-Wounds). Apart from the transport been provided the association will be providing their teams with meals and accomadation during the duration of the tournament. Raiwaqa Basketball Players Association would like to thank the Raiwaqa Bus Company Ltd for providing a service not only to their daily working and school members but also to their sporting community. Their sponsorship has lifted the morale in particular the youths living within the Raiwaqa Community.
