Business House Basketball Updates

 

140 employees representing 14 Co-operate companies located in Suva have been battling it out every Tuesdays at the Vodafone Arena between 6pm -9pm during the Basketball Fiji organized 2011 Business House Basketball Competition.

In Pool A defending champions Westpac which is led by National Rep Frank Saketa and former National Women’s rep Olive Whippy is currently leading the pool after recording four wins from four games. The Adrian Bossley captained Australian High Commission is currently on second place while the University of the South Pacific represented by National Women’s netball coaches Gabriel Qoro and Una Rokoura are seating on 3rd place. The US embassy which has the service of National netball rep Bernadette Daurewa is trailing behind on 4th place. The bottom 3 teams in the points table are the Mesulame Rasova (Former National Rep) led Fiji National University, new comers SOPAC guided by former National captain Mosese Sikivou and CWM.

In Pool B the Fiji Police Force which a majority of its players from the Raiwaqa area are currently leading the Points table with 4 wins from 4 games. The Saki Rokodi led Bank of the South Pacific is currently trailing behind on 2nd place after recording 3 wins from 4 games.  The Fiji National Provident Fund which has the service of National basketball rep Seini Dobui and National Netball captain Matila Waqanidrola is closely trailing behind with 3 wins and a loss while late joiners into the competition Communication Fiji Limited who have the potential to top the points table with the services of National Men’s rep Johnny Seruvatu and former U20 National Players Aaron Ah Yuk and Gina Ah Yuk are currently on 4rd place with a record of 2 wins from 2 games.  The bottom three in the points table is ANZ, Pacific Building Solution and Vodafone.

Top four teams from each pool will qualify for the quarter final stages following the completion of pool play.
