Babas retain b'ball trophy

BARBARIANS retained the Tu Vili Cinavilakeba challenge trophy yesterday following a no-show by Idaman at Eds Court.

The champions will now defend the trophy against Mighty Mights in round three of the Raiwaqa Basketball Players Association League on Saturday.

Bryceland crashed to Waidonu, 51-46. The winners of the recent SKY Technologies knockout tournament are winless while Barbarians, Waidonu and Mighty Mights are yet to lose.

Mighty Mights secured two wins -- beating G Unit 29-3 and Noobies 64-34. X Wounds and Golden Bati are setting the pace ion the women's league.

The Bati won by default over Cougars while X-Wounds beat Knights 32-18.
