FIJI basketball under-19 men's coach Peni Ratumaiyale says as the FIBA Oceania U19 Championship draws nearer, all players are giving their utmost best at training.

And he is finding it hard to find the best 10 players from the current 20-member squad.

"It's getting hard, you know trying to figure out who are the best 10 players because everyone is just giving everything at training," he said.

Ratumaiyale will name his final 10-member team on October 27. He was pleased with the performance of players at training.

"I've seen a lot of improvement at training. The skills level is getting there. This is something that we worked on from the beginning and I'm happy with how things are going now.

"The boys are looking forward to the Oceania and I believe that is why they're giving everything to book a spot in the final squad."

The Oceania event which is also the world championship qualifiers will be held at the Vodafone Arena in Suva during the first week of December.
