Designgrafix Signs On

Designgrafix (Fiji) Limited have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Basketball Fiji as the official banner supplier for the 2014 FIBA-USP Oceania Under-19 Basketball Championships which starts on Monday.

Sealing the deal yesterday, Basketball Fiji president Ioane Naivalurua acknowledged the designing firm for their support.

"Basketball Fiji continues to acknowledget the support of all our sponsors, especially Designgrafix for their support in our bid to host and now providing the banners as well as media backdrop for the 2014 FIBA Oceania tournament.

"They have expressed that they are happy to support these types of sporting events which helps increase their public profile, provide good exposure for their business and generate business for them.

"They've committed several thousand dollars as part of their role to provide the banners for the tournament.

"The agreement they've signed extends beyond this tournament as they've pledged to partner with us going into the future."

In the MOU, DFL says the banners and media backdrop are a fruition of their pledge to support Basketball Fiji and the growth of sports in Fiji.

Two tournament banners, a media backdrop and one Basketball Fiji banner are all part of the provisions DFL are undertaking.

Mainwhile, the contingent from Guam arrived in the country yesterday morning while the contingent from Australia arrived last night.

All teams will be camped at the University of the South Pacific's Laucala campus.

The 2014 FIBA-USP Oceania Under-19 Basketball Championships starts on Monday and ends on Saturday.
