Bryce scoops top honours

THE Raiwai Youth Development Program ended its competition on Saturday with Bryce Youngsters walking away with two of the four grades.

Program co-ordinator Kelevi Serukalou praised the three month competition, saying it was a success.

Serukalou said the level of competition and the skills level showed by all the teams that participated were all of a high standard.

"I can say it is has been worth the commitment from all the officials, and the parents for allowing their children to come and participate plus all the players for their dedication during the duration of the competition," Serukalou said

"From what we've seen this year, the committee has agreed that we should organise another tournament next year."

Serukalou said the new competition will start in January.

The president of the Fiji Basketball Association Brigadier Ioane Naivalurua was the chief guest at the finals at the Raiwai Youth Centre on Saturday.
