Blue Devils wants to remain unbeaten

BLUE Devils are aiming to maintain their unbeaten run in the Pacific Energy Lautoka Basketball League men's competition this Saturday.

The Blue Devils team with national trialist Donald Chang defeated Tribal 51-33 in a high scoring match last Saturday.

Former national basketball and athletics rep, Jale Vunisa starred for the Blue Devils team scoring 18 points.

Blue Devils won the second match by default after Blazers failed to turn up.

Shavin Naicker top scored for Trojans in their 41-26 win against Namoli. Naicker scored 19 points.

West Saints lost to Tribal 24-27, Blazers defeated Trojans 30-28, Cougars beat Blazers 31-22 and West Saints lost to Namoli 23-39.

Shine On making a comeback in the women's competition defeated Namoli 25-17 while Blazers thrashed Nabekavu 38-15.

Vunisa who is also the Lautoka Basketball League secretary said many high scores were recorded last week.

He said the competition was getting tougher each week.
