2nd day of the Development Holiday Basketball Clinic

The second day of the basketball development holiday clinics brought more young players to the basketball courts @ Eds court Raiwaqa. From 46 the numbers went up to 52 that were made up of kids between the age groups of 7 to 14 years old. Players that live along the Raiwaqa area were present to give basketball Fiji officers a hand on the court. It is basketball Fiji's objectives to get the associations involved so that one day the associations will take over in development young national reps for the future. The younger generation are starting to grasp the basics at a very young age. The development program has only been alive for three months and it has already done wonders in these young individual lives. Basketball can also be used as a tool to teach discipline, team work and character building. There is three days left and Basketball Fiji hopes to organise a junior knockout tournament to close the basketball clinic with prize's up for grabs. All children between the ages of 7 to 14 years are welcome to attend the basketball development school holiday clinics that runs from 10am to 12.30pm @ Eds Court Raiwaqa.
