Basketball Fiji received a generous donation of equipment from Mr Peng which consisted of 5 sets of glass back boards, basketball rims and posts, match balls sizes 5,6 and 7, whistles, training vests, and other equipment to use in the BF HQ. Total value of donation estimates to be more than $250,000.

In attendance at the equipment handover was Tuckers Ice Cream Fiji Secondary Schools U18 All Star boys and girls teams, BF treasurer Major Ben Sikuri, BF COO Laisiasa Puamau, BF H4H Administrator Saula Koroi, BF administrator Leah Seru and Homelink director Mr. Suka as well as Mr Pengs Assistant and translator. BF Treasurer Major (Rtd.) Ben Sikuri thanked Mr. Peng on behalf of the federation for his kind donation which will assist in spreading the awareness and growth of the sport. He also acknoweldged the presence of Fiji Times, Fiji Sun Newspaper and FBC TV.

Mr Peng hopes to grow the relationship that now exists between Fiji and China.
