NBDO receieves Equipment

NBDO officer for the Solomon Islands, Mr. David Moses Kivo receieved timely support from FIBA Oceanai in the form of equipments such as basketballs to assist in his programs.

The equipment were offically handed over to David by SIBF with a further announcmenet that the NBDO's full stock of equipment is to arrive before the end of this month.

In his response, David thanked FIBA Oceania for the support and acknowledged Annie the Basketball Development Officer in Coffs Harbour for the first set of equipments receieved.

"I have been handicapped a bit lately, in terms of equipments to run my programs effectively but now, with this set and the rest of the equpiments to arrive, this is positive news for everyone, and further encoruagement for me to implement my programs", David said.

David is currently engaged with development programs in Guardalacanal and with teams around Honiara. He will be implementing a referees course next week to prepare referees for the HBA and High School basketball finals in Honiara.
