End of Day 4 South Pacific Games 2007

PNG mens have again shown too much class for their competition winning their 6th straight match 12 to 2 against American Samoa.  They are hot favourites for the Gold with an unstoppable pitcher catcher combination and hits from the batting specialists.  Samoa Men got their first and only win in the first rounds of competition against American Samoa winning a tight battle 17 to 15 in the 7th inning.

The women of PNG again punished Samoa 7 to 0 with Samoa unable to hit the fast pitching style of the PNGs.  The only loss for the PNG women was against American Samoa who came out with force on the last inning taking the match 12 to 4.  American Samoa went onto securing their 4th win to Samoa 14 to 6.

Tommorrows finals should be a blast with all the teams battling for the silver or contend again the strong teams from PNG.  Be there to see the highlights of the fastest pitchers in the Pacific right here in the beatiful Island of Samoa, SPG 2007!
