Shauny joined the Dingos when traveling through Toronto in 2010, and has been a member of the team ever since. Shauny quickly established himself as a vital member on the half-back flank and has taken a more central role with the club over the years.
Always finishing near the top for Stewart Award voting, Shauny has come runner-up on two occasions. A passionate player, he has served as Dingos captain on the field in 2014 and 2015 and grew into one of the key leaders of the club, both on and off the field. His efforts were recognized at Awards Night in 2015, as he was named Player's Player.
In addition, at the Dingos' 20th Anniversary Gala in 2015, Shauny was named to the 20-Year All-Star team, as a starting HalfBack Flank, a tribute to his contributions to the club.
Shauny moved back to Australia following the 2015 season, finishing his Dingos career with a total of 72 games played and 31 goals.
