12 Months since the passing of Nadine

Thursday March 17th marked 12 months since the passing of Nadine Webber.

Melton Football Netball Club players, officials and family members paid their respects with a minutes silence on the Macpherson Park netball court.

The Blood’s opening match of 2016 against Melton South will also see the inaugural annual Nadine Webber Memorial match with a perpetual trophy named in her honour.more

Williamstown has signed promising young key defender Liam Carter. Liam made his senior debut for the Bloods in 2013 and has played 14 senior games for the club over the past three years. Everyone at the Bloods wishes Liam the best of luck at VFL level in 2016.more

Pre-Season training will commence at MacPherson Park Oval 1 on Monday November 16th at 6pm. Training will continue every Monday and Wednesday night until Christmas. No boots. New players welcome.more

Reserves and 18.5's - We are in the Grand Final

The Reserves Preliminary Final is run and won, and they're still a happy team at Melton as the Bloods have advanced to face Redan in the 2015 Reserves Grand Final next Saturday thanks to a 28 point win over Sunbury - 10.8.68 to 5.10.40

Also well done to the U18.5's, as they've won their way through to face East Point in next week's Ballarat Toyota Under 18.5's Grand Final.more

The Bloods put a great show against old rivals Sunbury, missing out by just 5 points. On the bright side, the Reserves had a great win and the unders got in for their first win of the season. Well done Rayza and the boys, it was a top effort.
Netball girls also did well with two out of 4 wins. All up a pretty good day.
