A day to remember those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice serving our country and who typify the spirit of the Anzacs.
On this day, above all days we remember those Australian men and women who served, died or suffered in the great tragedy of war.
Each year as a Club we pay homage to all who died, were disabled or served this country whether on home shores or deployed to the battlefields. Spare a special thought for troops currently stationed in regions of the world.
It is special to gather in the crisp, cool air with many Eagle friends at the local Dawn Service. Do try and make your local event.
Spend some part of Tuesday April 25th thinking about what Anzac Day means and reflect on how Mateship, Sacrifice and Courage, values shared by those defending our country, enables us to share the freedom we enjoy in life and makes possible our involvement in this football/netball club.
