This Saturday is Past Players Day at the Village Green and on the day we will be celebrating a current Bulldog who has been a part of many successes over the years. David Backler has been a premiership player and captain, division best and fairest, division leading goalkicker, club president, Bulldogs life member and along the way has chalked up over 400 games for the club.more

Match Results - August 1

With five games being played to make up for ground closures earlier in the season the club came away with just one win - The Stingrays Division One were convincing 67-13 winners over Mac Uni. The men didn't fair so well with Div One, Div Three and Under 19's all going down as well as Stingrays Division Two.more

Ladies Day Results

A great weekend off the field with Ladies Day taking place at the Village Green last Saturday, however it wasn't a great week on the field with just the 2 wins from 8 games and the club going 0-4 on Saturday. A major positive was Division Five keeping their spot atop the table with a resounding victory whilst Under 19s continue to be the main danger to undefeated Pennant Hills.more

Bombers Down Dogs In Thriller

Premier Division couldn't follow up their resounding win over North Shore from earlier in the season. Last Saturday they were defeated by 4 points at the Village Green in a thriller. Overall the club posted 3 wins from 7 games.more

Weekend Results - June 6

Just the three games last weekend - all of which were make up games from ground closures earlier in the season. Division Three scored their second win of the season, however Div Five were defeated for the first time and Stingrays Div Two were also beaten by Manly.more

Div Three on the Board in 2015

Another weekend has passed and in positive news for the club Division Three have got on the board for 2015 with a win. Division Five have won again to stay undefeated, whilst Under 19's have won again to move in 3rd position on the ladder. Division One and Stingrays Div Two both lost and are still looking for their first win. In Division One Jack Erickson played his 50th game for the club.more

The Bulldogs Division Five team have run out big winners on the weekend against Nor West but Div one and Three are still in search of their first victory. Stingrays Div One and Under 19's picked up wins and have entered the top four for the first time in 2015.more

PD Competitive But Fall Short Against Demons, Div Five Remain Undefeated

It was another mixed bag of results for the club over the weekend. Whilst all teams remained competitive against their opposition we were still only to come away with 2 victories from 7 games. The Division Five boys continue to be the highlight of 2015 and remain undefeated.more

Due to this mass rain in the Sydney region in the earlier part of this week there have been mass ground closures across Sydney and the only games which will go ahead across the entire league are Premier Division and Women Division Onemore

ANZAC Day Fixtures, Two-Up @ The Donny, Drinks @ Bondi RSL

This Saturday is ANZAC Day and as always the club will have a lot going on. Due to massive rain earlier in the week all games except Premier Division and Women Division One have been postponed. Both teams will be playing at the VG on Saturday. The Div Three lads will be running two up at the Donny, followed by ANZAC Day drinks at the Bondi RSL.more

Weekend Wrap (April 18 & 19) - Lampi Boots Five in Dogs Debut

Premier Division got their 2015 account started with a big 67 point win over North Shore at Gore Hill Oval. Division Five confirmed they are going to be a real force in 2015 with a 61 point win over Sydney University. Unfortunately all other five teams were defeated in their respective matches.more

After a long and arduous pre season the football season is only two sleeps away with Premier Division kicking off the Bulldogs season under lights on Friday Night at Henson Park. The three other senior men's teams return to Trumper Park on Saturday against rivals UTS, whilst Under 19's finish the weekend off on Saturday Night.more

Vale Peter Ruscuklic - 1955-2014

East Sydney goalkicking legend Peter Ruscuklic has passed away aged 58. He is best known for kicking 213 goals in the 1981 to spreadhead Easy Sydney's premiership. His goalkicking tally still a national record for a capital city competition.more
