Menzies and Conway Round out Redland Coaching Appointments

The Redland Bombers have finalised their coaching appointments for 2013 with the addition of Deion Menzies and Mick Conway to the coaching ranks

Menzies, an assistant under 18 coach this year at Victoria Point becomes the clubs Development Coach. His charter includes overseeing the development and welfare needs of the clubs first to third year players, transitioning players from under 18 to the senior list, skills remediation, and providing training and playing feedback in liaison with respective coaching staff.

Deion is well known in footballing circles through his involvements at Alexandra Hills FC, AFL Brisbane Juniors, and this year he took the Qld Under 18 Womens side to the Grand Final at the National titles

This year Conway coached the Redland Sharks in the Under 16 McDonalds Cup with the team bowing out in the Preliminary Final. An astute coach with a real feel for the game Conway is well placed to take over the reins of a group that will include several graduating under 16 players as well as the core of the 2012 under 18 squad.

Mick had a decorated career as a player with stints at Ainslie, Caloundra, and Morningside before joining the Queensland Fire & Rescue Service

Rob Devlin has been appointed to the Under 16 McDonalds Cup coaching role

We welcome Deion, Mick, and Rob on board and wish them every success in their roles for 2013 and beyond.
