About Us

Kilsyth East Netball Club (KENC) has been running for 30 years and is a founding club of the Lilydale and Yarra Valley Netball Association. We are a small club with teams ranging from Funnet (7 year olds) to Open age (over 18) players. As well as providing a fun and friendly atmosphere for netball, we also aim to develop the skills of our players, umpires and coaches. We also provide a few social fundraising activities throughout the year.
We hope that you will enjoy your time with the club, and to help make the transition smoother, below are a few details that you will need to know.

Matches:
Matches are played on Saturday's at Pink Reserve Netball courts in Kilsyth- which is run as part of the LYVN Association. The game times start as early as 8:30am for the Under 9's and ending at approximately 4.30pm after the Open age girls play.

Seasons:
KENC participates in two seasons at LYVNA - the first is the Winter season that runs from February until September, and the second is the Spring season that runs from October to December. Both seasons break for the school holidays, with the main difference between them being the Spring season does not have any finals.

Training:
We train on a Thursday evening from 7pm to 8pm for Juniors and 8pm to 9pm for Open teams at the Pink Reserve Netball courts (the same place as where we play on Saturday's) during the netball seasons.  Training is compulsory for all players and it is requested that if you cannot attend training or your match the coach is given 24 hours notice wherever possible.

Uniform:
KENC uniform is Girls: KENC A-line dress & Boys: purple shorts with KENC singlet.
