Auburn Warriors v NYC Bulldogs at Belmore - 10th Feb 2013

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs will make their first on-field appearance of 2013 at Belmore Sports Ground when they take on the Newtown Jets on Sunday, 10 February with the NRL kick-off at 5:00pm.

After a successful return to Belmore in season 2012, the Bulldogs will again host a pre-season fixture at what has been considered the Club's spiritual home since they played their first Premiership match at the ground in 1936.

With the Bulldogs fast approaching the 10,000 Member mark already for season 2013, tickets for the match will go on-sale from 9am tomorrow (Wednesday, 16 January) to all Members who have already signed up, with the general public able to purchase tickets from Friday, 18 January.

With Newtown entering the 2013 NSW Cup competition as defending Premiers it will be a good test for the Bulldogs in what will be the return of the local rivalry to Belmore.

Last year's match was widely regarded as a day to remember, with it being a time for families to 'turn back the clock' and enjoy a day out on the family hill. There will be plenty of activities for all the family and with the corresponding match last year being a sell-out it is advised to purchase early to avoid disappointment.

The NRL match will be the first hit-out for the 2013 squad as they continue their preparations for what will be an exciting 2013 season. As well as this match at Belmore Sports Ground, the Bulldogs will take on the Canberra Raiders in Goulburn in their second pre-season match on Saturday, 23 February with kick-off at 7.00pm.
