HOME GROUND IMPROVEMENTS
The first step was taken on our home ground improvements by the Moreton Bay Regional Council with installation of two new Dug Out Blocks for players at Williamina Court. There were two extra shelters also added at the northern end of the ground. This work began late November and their addition to our facility will provide welcome accomodation for players, coaches and team staff during matches.
Stage two is a most exciting news item. From early December the MBRC had their contractors remove our old, tired field surface and by mid December your visit to the ground will reveal a brand new turf cover that will be as good as any community field in the district. Narangba Rangers teams will provide even greater thrills than we have seen before and they will enjoy the field surface more than anyone.
Whilst the new turf is watered and fertilized the field will be fenced off in preparation for the commencement of the 2013 Rugby League season. The Narangba Rangers RLFC appreciates the support of the Moreton Bay Regional Council in undertaking this project and the Club will be proud to welcome visitors to this picturesque parkland.
After dusk you will best notice a further major advancement at the Williamina Court complex. MBRC have lit up the entry and parking area with four double light fittings in the main car park and four single light poles positioned strategically to illuminate all of the prior dark spots that had caused concern.
Have a look in our Photo Gallery tab for some pictures of the field impovements and player shelters.
Play well, cheer long with the Rangers !!!
