Very satisfying first up win today girls against last year's premiers. Even performance all across the ground with everyone doing their bit when they had to. Courageous work rate on a warm day against a team with 4-5 on the bench so they could rotate. Good to see the game plan sinking in so early in the season.more

AFL International Youth Girls Cup

The U-18 New Zealand Kahus made history when they became the first ever female AFL team to represent New Zealand. Their opposition were the tough and highly skilled Australian Youth Girls team, known as the Australia Breeze. The match was played at Parrs Park in Auckland as part of the AFL International Youth Girls Cup.more

Australian Youth Girls and VAFA NZ Tour preview

The U-18 New Zealand Kahus will be making their debut against the Australian Youth Girls, in the AFL International Youth Girls Cup. This will be an ambassadorial series designed to build on the strong existing partnership between the two nations.
