Elwood teenager Niamh represented Victoria at the AFL Youth Girls National Championships

PICK a sport and you can bet that Elwood teen Niamh Clarke excels at it.

But it’s Aussie Rules in which the 17-year-old really shines.

The Elwood College student recently represented Victoria at the AFL Youth Girls National Championships in Canberra.

She was picked for the Vic Metro squad from more than 100 hopefuls, through a tough and lengthy selection process.more

Another great win this morning girls. Once again didn't let the opposition score despite only having 12 players while they had 15 and could rotate. Brilliant game from Georgia (at least 5 goals, many after being set up by Mia which was a lethal combination).more

Wow, another very good performance girls in wet conditions to beat St Damien's 130-0 this morning. Great teamwork all over the ground with many excellent passages of play involving various players who worked well together. Terrific to see brilliant first match performances from Pepa, Bellsy (5 goals!), Bryanna, Selma, Georgia and Victoria who fitted in with the team beautifully.more
