Rationale
The Narre Warren Football Club recognises that passive smoking (inhaling second-hand smoke) is hazardous to health and that non-smokers should be protected from tobacco smoke.
The move to go Smoke Free supports the NWJFC commitment to promoting ‘Health and Fitness’ through the playing of Australian Rules Football.
The NWJFC respects individual’s choice with regards to smoking and the consumption of alcohol and appreciates your consideration in return.
Who is affected by the Policy
- This policy applies to all members, administrators, officials, coaches, players and visitors of the Narre Warren Football Club.
Designated SmokeFree Areas
The Narre Warren Football Club he following areas to be Smoke Free:
- Club and social rooms
- Administration and office areas
- Changing rooms
- Toilet block
- Playing areas
Sale of Tobacco Products
The Narre Warren Football club will refrain from selling tobacco products.
Promotion of the Policy
The following will be implemented as a reminder with regard to the Smoke Free policy:
- Non-smoking signs to be displayed
- Smokers will be directed to outside areas.

ALCOHOL MANAGEMENT:
- The Narre Warren Junior Football Club abides by the direction given by our League’ s guidelines and does not permit the sale or consumption of alcohol at any time during junior matches or training sessions.
WHO IS AFFECTED BY THE POLICY:
- This policy applies to all members, administrators, officials, coaches, players and visitors of the Narre Warren Football Club.
LIQUOR LICENSE – NARRE WARREN JUNIOR FOOTBALL CLUB
- The liquor license does not allow for the bringing of alcohol (BYO) onto the premises.
- Any person/s found to be continual offenders of this will be asked to leave the premises and may be banned as a result from attending the club for a period to be determined at the time
