Doggies get back to business as pre season kicks off

The boys have been off on holidays relaxing and working on their tans over the off season, but after a relaxing break it's time to get back to business.

Under the guidance of senior coach Paul Howroyd who has been re-appointed for season 2013, Pre Season training kicked off for the Doggies on Monday 19th November at Mckinnon Oval. Around 30 players attended the very first session and it was a mixure of old and new players, all enthusiastic about beginning their preparations for 2013.

In hot conditions, the boys were put through their paces during a skills session and then it was over to the athletics centre where the boys worked hard on the running track with completing several 400m runs.

For anyone who is interested in coming down to join training, sessions are run on Mondays and Wednesdays at Duncan Mackinnon Reserve (Oval next to the athletics track, situated in the triangle of North Road, Murrumbeena Road and Crosbie Road, Murrumbeena) beginning at 6.00pm.
