VALE JACK LEWIS

Jack was Macleod's inaugural secretary in 1947 and played a significant role in getting the club started in those pioneering days. Jack was instrumental in moving the club's old changerooms from a small shed near the bowling club to its current location. He served many years on the committee, he also played for Macleod and later in life he was a regular attendee at games and functions. He was also a generous supporter and he sponsored players, often without them knowing. A true gentleman, Jack was 87 and will be sorely missed by everyone at Macleod FC. Our deepest sympathy to Jack's wife Joyce and the Lewis family. Funeral details will be announced shortly.
