NEW GROUND IS TAKING SHAPE

The ground reconstruction at Panton Hill is well underway with with irrigation systems being finished off and pre-watering commencing ahead of the planting in coming weeks. This will ensure that there is as much of the growing season available. Temporary grounds for next season are still being finalised with the Council but the options being discussed appear appropriate.  We'll let you know as soon as the ground is confirmed.

The club is also exploring the possibility of a supporters bus to transport our supporters to each home game and then back again.  Details to be advised closer to the season.

It's going to be a difficult year for the club and we'll need everyone on board to provide support, but the short term pain will result in a longer term gain.  And with the side shaping up to be just a little bit better than last season we'll be looking for some on field success to keep everyone interested and keen.

Poll

The 2015 PHFC Best and Fairest votes have been counted for the three sides up to Round 12. Over the next few days, between now and the Presentation Night on September 4, you can have your say on who you think might take out the award this year in each of the Seniors, Reserves and Under 19s.

Firstly, the Under 19s currently sees Michael Linton just ahead of Ben Brennan who are both hotly pursued by Dan Freeman, Scott Thompson, Oscar Weichmann, Dan Burleigh and Jackson Mill all within range.

Or is there a "smokey"
