Welcome to the 2013 Season

Greetings from Alex Hills JAFC

Firstly, welcome to the 2013 season. If you have registered online, you can find a copy of the 2013 Handbook right here under Club Stuff/Forms

Please familiarise yourself with the club website as it contains lots of useful info, such as: Events Calendar, cancellations and news item.

 Now to some housekeeping:

Glen Smith has resigned from the position of Club Chairman for personal reasons. We thank Glen for the time and effort he has put into his many years at the club, and wish him well in the future. Craig Pollard has now stepped into the role of Chairman. This leaves our Vice Chair position vacant. If you believe you have the necessary communication and interpersonal skills required for this role, please contact someone on the committee to discuss this further.

We are also urgently in need of a Merchandise Coordinator. If you can commit to 2 afternoons per week (Wednesday & Thursday ), during training, we need your help. Please contact Jo Golding on 0402 414 825 or email secretary.ahjafc@gmail.com

LIONS IN YOUR CLUB

We are pleased to announce that, as in previous years, the Brisbane Lions will again be in our club this year. Lions player/s will be attending Alex Hills training on TUESDAY, March 12th from 4.30pm.    Each team will gather in their own groups around the field to train and will be joined at some point, by the Lions Player/s. This means all Junior/Youth teams should attend training on this day instead of, or as well as, your usual training night. All Coaches will communicate further with you on this matter.

FACEBOOK

Please check out the club Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/AHJAFC

If you already have a Facebook account just search for AHJAFC and you will find us. This is where we will post all training/match cancellations and ground closures.

Finally, with your help, we look forward to another great season...

Comment Guidelines: The SportingPulse Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
