Northern Football Holiday Programme

Northern Football will be running a Holiday programme on Tuesday the 27th and wednesday the 28th January 2015 at the QBE Stadium Turf 4 from 9am to 3pm for 7 - 13 years old players.
$96.00 for the two days.

Oratia United 2015 First Team Coaching Announcement.

Oratia United today announced that current Director of Football Steve Cain has agreed to extend his responsibilities at the club to include coaching the senior men's first team in the Northern League second division for the 2015 NRLF.more

Napier U19 National Tournament 2014

This year saw the club take a young team to Napier with an eye on staying in the main tournament and developing players for the future. The average age of the squad was sixteen. The results, with one draw and four defeats, would on the face of it be disappointing. But bearing in mind the stated aim and the lack of experience in the group they performed very well indeed.more

Oratia United 2014 Season

After a successful first campaign in the NRFL Division 2 competition in 2013 we are looking to strengthen our squad to help us to continue to move forward in the coming season under 1st team Head Coach, Lee Gosshawk, who has been retained for the coming season.

We currently have a young and ambitious group of players, but are looking for experienced players who have played at this level before.more

Oratia United first and reserves last league games

The reserves kick off at 2.45 at Seddon Fields and then the first team fixture kicks off at 5.00pm. The squad has appreciated and enjoyed your support this season and we would love to see as many of you as possible this Saturday at Seddon Fields. We are finishing the season with a game against the Champions for 2013 and we will show why Oratia can and will compete now that we are back in NRFL.more

Friday night first kicks 5th and 6th grade.

For the school holidays we will NOT hold our Friday night 5th and 6th grade sessions for the 19th and 26th July. We will resume on Friday 2nd August. Please remember that the following Friday night 9th August from 5pm in the clubrooms the team photos will be taken. Hope you all have a well deserved break.more

Oratia United AFC are the latest club to be successfully accredited with Quality Club Mark status, NZ Football’s initiative to help clubs achieve best standard practices for the benefit of their members and the community.

Oratia United AFC wanted to achieve the Quality Club Mark status to provide a better service for their members. “As a club we are always looking for opportunities to provide our members the best services available,” said Oratia United AFC Club Chairman Peter Goodburn. “The board wholeheartedly supported this process and look forward to continuing our involvement moving forward,” continued Goodburn.more

Friday Nights First Kicks Program

Because of the school holiday's there will be NO First Kicks Football this Friday the 26th April and Friday 3rd May.

The First Kicks program will start again on Friday the 10th May at 5:30pm.

Girls in Football

At Oratia United we have seen some exciting changes over the 2010 season, with the club appointing our new Director of Football, Steve Cain.  Under his direction we have implemented a new pathways programme, selection and trial process, along with our High Performance Academy and Development Academy.

For the 2011 season our focus will be on increasing the numbers of girls's teams at our club, in doing this we will offer.

Open to all Members the kitchen and Bar open from 6pm

Open from the inside of the club


Friday – Midget Football and Prizegiving

The Kitchen opens from 5.30pm

Bar open from 5.30pm

Open from the inside of the club


Saturday – Youth and senior Football

The Kitchen is open from 8.30am till late

We open from the outside in the mornings. You will find the kitchen window facing our number one field just around to the right of our clubroom entrance. We then turn around late afternoon and open from the inside of the club.

Come get your coffee fix from our new coffee machine and Lucaffe Coffee

Freshly baked Scones and biscuits available

The Bar Opens from 1pm till late
