Bay Olympic have reappointed Carl Jorgensen to coach the Mitre 10 Mega New Lynn Bay Olympic Men’s Premier Team in the Northern Regional Football Premier League for 2016. Club Chairman Graham Leaming said the Club were targeting a top four finish in 2016.more

Bay Olympic bringing the love of football to our schools each week

Hundreds of local children are benefiting each week from the coaching of Bay Olympic Director of Football, Shane Knowles. In addition to running the Bay Olympic’s junior and youth programme and academies, Knowles delivers football coaching to hundreds of kids in eight schools in the West Auckland region each week.more

Last week we had a large number of Bay Olympic players competing at the annual AIMS Games in Tauranga. With more than 8000 of the country's top sportspeople it's now officially bigger than the Commonwealth Games.more

Break in at the Club Rooms - Lets catch these guys

We had three vandals/thieves break into the Bay Olympic AFC in Portage Rd early on Sunday evening - please look at the photos below - they have caused a lot of damage breaking in but thankfully also done a "great job" of identifying themselves.

Someone must know them. We would love to help the Police catch these buggars so that these can be dealt with before they damage any other property.more

Team Paston in the spotlight - 9th grade

The players of Team Paston from Bay Olympic are in the spotlight after being named ASB Team of the Week.

Each week during the winter season, New Zealand Football is selecting a Team of the Week from nominations received from all over the country.more

Bay Olympic Lions 11th Grade win tournament.

On Sunday Bay Olympic Lions 11th grade prems headed to Papakura City toplay in a 16 teamtournament. We were placed in Pool C and our first game we were paired with Buckland's Beach Hughes and in a tight game on a bumpy pitch we managed to win 1-0 with a goal from our Lions captain Max Hancock.more

Pitchside Pantry - new chef Kelvin in the Kitchen

Come down to the club every Saturday to enjoy the new Pitchside Pantry, the menu will be tweaked and perfected over the next few weeks, but the soft chicken tacos were devine.more

Crum Park Turf - Footwear, Nets & Flag Post Reminders

Youth football teams playing half size fields, please promptly remove the net and shift the goal posts to the corner nearest the tennis courts.
If you are the last game of the day, please ensure you put the corner flag posts away in the storeroom.

ONLY wear moulded sole boots or blades. Flat soles and metal sprigs damage the turf and are not permitted.more

Time Keeping

Please make every endeavour to conclude your game within the allocated time slot. If you do not, the games after become progressively delayed. If there is a problem or incident that is likely to cause a small delay, please discuss with the manager of the team due to follow you.more

Lotto NZ has decided to run the 'Lotto Thank a Sport Maker' campaign for 1 more year. This means you can nominate volunteers to win $500 worth of sports gear and once you nominate them, they are in the draw for the year.

Pick up and Return of Avondale Half Nets

If you are the first team to play at Avondale Racecourse, you need to collect half nets from the clubrooms during office hours or Wednesday nights 7.30pm - 8.30pm (by prior arrangement only). If there are no teams ready to take to the field after your game, please take down the nets and return them to the Clubrooms on Saturday afternoon.more

Senior Women's Representative

Bay Olympic are pleased to announce that Terry Eberhardt is the new Senior Women's Representative. Since moving to New Zealand from Canada, Terry has been with Bay Olympic as both a player and team manager. She looks forward to meeting everyone and assisting our Women's teams during the season.more

Bay Olympic ACYF 17th Grade Girls Tournament Results Pack above their Weight

On Sunday the Girls team beat Coastal Spirit 2-1, the same team that they unfortunately lost to on Day One (Friday). The football they played on Friday should have produced a win and today they cut out the mistakes and fully deserved to win.
