Presidents Report - Kylie Coen - November 2012

Hope everyone enjoyed the cup weekend break and will be ready and refreshed to get back into training next week and see grading concluded.  With the grading process there will be changes following round 4 just completed, which we will find out at fixtures day this Wednesday.  There is officially two more rounds of grading but only really significant results tend to change grading outcomes in rounds 5-6.  So most likely where your team ends up in the next round is most likely where they will stay for the remainder of the season.

Keep an eye out for an exciting initiative.  The club received  a grant from Telstra to develop Marcellin players and coaches so we are looking to hold a welcome back to Bball clinic/family day on Sunday February 10.  More details will be coming soon!!!

This is a summary off the EDJBA website where full codes of conduct for parents, players, spectators and officials are presented in detail.

Please make sure you are familiar with your responsibilities as a member of the Marcellin Eagles Basketball club.  We are a small club and should lead by example in our behaviours at all levels, that is as officials, coaches, players and spectators.

Comment Guidelines: The SportingPulse Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
