Breakers Straight into Grand Final with Strong Second Semi

Our Coolum Beach Breakers Under 12's were in top form from the opening siren as they jumped Caloundra at Noosa with a 5.3 to 2.2 opening quarter. With Tom Ansell directing traffic and Ben Dickson and Thomas Griffiths in good touch, the signs were good for our Breakers who finished one spot below Caloundra at the end of the minor round.

A further 2 goals to one in the second term saw Coolum go in at the long break with a 25 point lead and from here Caloundra were up against it.

But as all good sides do, Caloundra came back and by kicking 4 goals to 2 in the third quarter they narrowed the gap to 10 points with a quarter to go.

But with intensity and purpose our Breakers knew what to do when it mattered, banging on 5 goals to 3 in the final term with Tom Ansell ending up with 7 for the match and Coolum heading straight into the Grand Final with a 21 point win.

The job's only half done but well done to Lynden and all involved & good luck for the big one and we are sure plenty of Breakers supporters will be there to cheer you on.

Final Scores: Coolum Beach 14.5 (89) dftd Caloundra 10.8 (68)
