Your Clubs’ Newsletter – Swansea Caves Junior Rugby League Footy Club
All teams are training. If you have registered then please be there, ready to train
We encourage all players to use head protection gear. This is available at reasonable cost from most sports stores. Mouth guards are mandatory.
Putting in the Boot.
Do you have footy boots that don’t fit you anymore? Can’t find anyone to pass them on to?
Why not bring them along to Tuesday’s training session and hand them in. We are collecting a range of used boots that can be sold cheaply to help younger and newer players get started. We’ll pay you half of what we sell them for. Please clean them and place them in a plastic shopping bag.
Our first Trial game is on Sunday 17th March at 9 am, at Parbury field Swansea. We are arranging a second Trial game at home for Saturday 23rd March and will confirm that one with you in the next newsletter.
Registration time is running out
If you haven’t registered to play footy this year, or have mates who are thinking about it, then it’s time to tell us you are interested.
Registration events are at - Swansea Workers club between 4.30pm and 5.30pm ish on Wednesday 27th February, and at training on Tuesday the 26th of February. Socks, shorts, a groovy new Spray Jacket, all ref fees etc, are included for one low registration fee of $95.
