The Australian Football National Risk Protection Programme is a joint initiative of the AFL and its’ State Bodies which provides member clubs with Public Liability, Club Management Liability and Personal Injury insurance for all football activities.
All members of the MJFC are covered for Personal Injury through this Programme which is provided via JLT Sport.
The Personal Injury component of the Programme provides partial reimbursement of non-Medicare medical benefits such as ambulance, physiotherapist, and dental. The Programme offers standard Bronze level of cover to all affiliated clubs with an option to upgrade to a higher level of cover with increased benefits and reimbursement of non-medicare expenses.
After much consideration, the MJFC in season 2013 have upgraded the Personal Injury insurance component of the cover from the standard Bronze level to Platinum level. This provides up to $1,000,000 cover in the case of a Quadraplegic/paraplegic event.
