East Perth Eagles Mens squad finally broke its drought with a comfortable 115-102 triumph against Kalamunda last night with a great team effort by the boys led by an unstoppable Jarrod Balcombe in the paint with 27 points and 6 boards, guttsy efforts from Corey Easley 26 points and 8 boards, Tom Jervis 22 points and13 boards and Austin Kisselev 15 points and 11 boards.

The women unfortunately came away with a loss 77-69.

The return of Samantha Norwood gave the Eagles a strong scoring presence under the basket. The Eagles would pull away with a lead but were quickly brought back with some bad turnovers which the Suns capitalized on and then with some sharp shooting three's gave the Suns the Win. Top scorers for the Eagles were Samantha Norwood 25 points and 13 boards with Kate Feilding 16 points
