Fantastic effort girls, only in to week 2 & you are already showing heaps of improvement. Our goalies worked hard all game against a more experienced opposition, with some great movements in and around the ring resulting in some nice goals. Just need to be more confident with your holds and leads and with that, you will see the rewards. Mid court had some great passages of play, chasing every loose ball, putting lots of pressure on the oppositions play and never giving up. Our defensive end worked tirelessly throughout the game. Your pressure on their goalies was fantastic, making them work hard for every ball.
Overall you should all be very proud of your efforts and we look forward to seeing you all grow as a team throughout the season.
Let's all get to training and keep up the good work.

Bad luck girls! We got off to a good start with some great passages of play, defensive pressure and some fantastic plays in offense but our usual determination & fight for the ball was not on today!
We need to be a lot more focused and determined and keep playing strongly as a team for the full 4 quarters , if we want to come out with the 4 points.
Let's see everyone get to training and continue working hard and with this, you will see the rewards on game day.

It was a great game today with all players contributing to the win. We had several positional changes and all the girls adapted well and were able to continue the momentum. Several players were in unfamiliar positions and continued to work well together, showing the versatility of the team. Great work today, let's carry this intensity to our game against Killy-Bass.

Of course a tough one over the hill and with ten girls, but we gave it a good go. Quite a few changes and only our slow decisions at times letting us down. Waiting for the ball to come to you or not letting go of it when the pass is there.Laura cut a couple of passes off with good vision, Krista had eyes for the ball and passed with one, earning her the Evans award, and Ash played a pearler and took out the South Gippsland Therapy award. Good effort by all on the court.

Great fight against foster, everyone put in 100%. Lovely moving & shooting in the goal ring with Wendy & Shelley working together. Fantastic defence work from Amelia, Maddy Barry & Bec Steff, plenty of important intercepts. Haley ran centre and worked well with Amy in the mid court, lots of talk from the two girls. Let's have a win next week at home against Killy Bass!!
