Footy  'Kicks Off" on Saturday April 21st when Tyntynder take on Cohuna at the Alan Garden Reserve and will again feature the 3rd annual "Beyond Blue Cup"   The "Cup" is played in memory of Leon Hipwell who was a member and keen supporter of both Tyntynder & Cohuna Football / Netball clubs.
In what was to be a spirited six quarters of football, TFNC played host to 'Sister Club" Wycheproof Narraport on Saturday.  Played in warm and windy conditions Senior coach Simon Bunyan would have been pleased with the roll up and committment of both our Senior and Colts players. The Demons, wearing their traditional Red and Blue, moved the ball with plenty of speed and determination in a game that continues to be a valuable sporting and social exercise for both clubs in the lead up to the 2012 season.Â
Thanks to the Wyche Narraport Players and Committee, in particular President Lindsay and Coach James Coatsworth. The Tyntynder Football Netball Club values it's partnership with the Wyche Narraport Demons and looks forward to the return trip in 2013.
Many thanks also to our own Committee and supporters who helped out on the day.
