Under 15 boys donate to SES

DUNOLLY U/15’S KICK GOALS FOR THE SES.

The Dunolly Football Netball Club were very pleased to be able to present a cheque for $85 to the Dunolly Unit of the State Emergency Service recently.

The club donated a dollar for each goal the under 15 boys kicked in season 2012. “The club recognises the great work the SES do for the local community and surrounding district and were pleased to be able to make a small contribution to them” said DFNC President Bluey McGeown.

“We would like to be able to do something similar for another community organisation this coming season and build some beneficial relationships with other groups in town”.

The club recognises it could assist with community issues when they arise. “We have a membership of some energetic young men and women and hopefully they could help with things such as sand bagging and the like should it be needed anytime” McGeown added.

The club is back into pre season training. Monday sessions are held in Bendigo at Rosalind Park pre Christmas while Wednesdays sessions are held at Deledio Reserve, Dunolly from 6.30pm.

Tony Bellenger has been re appointed as Senior coach for 2013.

The club is seeking footballers for all grades from seniors down to under 17.5 and under 15. All new face will be made most welcome.
