Welcome one and all to the 2012 Club Mulwala Murray Football season. There has been a lot of excitement in the lead up to the season and it is always great to get the preseason over and done with so we can get on with the real deal, the competition for four points on the way to playing finals in football and netball. At Mulwala we pride ourselves on the fact that we have a proud history as a family club who includes everyone, a club who strives for success and celebrates the achievements of every individual and every team under the Lions banner.
We look forward to the challenges that the season will bring and really enjoy the amazing development we will see in so many of our young up and coming players. It is fantastic to see so many new families come and join our club in 2012 so if you see someone new in the Lions fold please go out of your way to make them welcome, draw them into the club, include them in your conversations and most of all make them feel welcome at Lonsdale Reserve.
We have the highest quality of coaches across our football and netball departments at all levels. All of our junior coaches have extensive experience in the senior ranks and are dedicated to helping your son or daughter improve as an individual but more importantly as a member of a sporting team. Our Senior coaches Nick O’Bryan and Casey Hudgson are leaders without peers in country sport and are dedicated to supporting the development of all players across the grades at Mulwala Football netball club..
The buzz around Mulwala is fantastic and it is a real credit to the Football Netball Club that it is about our own home grown players, the strength in our club is in the fact that every members and player is as important as the next. The little kid learning their trade in the 12 and under netball team, or the young aspirant on the bench in the fourths is as important as the star forward in the senior teams
Good luck to all players in all grades this year, enjoy your involvement, strive to improve and have a great year in the Murray League. On the off field front make sure you get behind the club by helping out with the work load whenever you can.
