PAWFC Best & Fairest Presentation

This year PAWFC held its Best & Fairest Presentation as a family orientated Luncheon at The Port Adelaide Football Club on a Sunday Afternoon. A fun Day was had by all with Awards given for the Open Women’s & Under 18 Teams as well as Club Awards.  The Day culminating with Alexandra Price being named Open Women’s Best & Fairest & Jessica Walker-Smith Winning Under 18 Best & Fairest.

Playing her first year of football for PAWFC as she only became eligible to play this year Alexandra Price was voted this years Open Women’s Best & Fairest Player for 2012. 
Alex played in the U/18 & Open Women’s Teams excelling in both. Kicking 18 goals & breaking a long time standing League record being just one of her achievements this season.
Alex actually unofficially joined the club last season training with the senior team even thou she was not old enough to play a game. She has shown herself to be a dedicated team member & a true character at the club.

Best & Fairest Player U/18’s


The Under 18 Best & Fairest vote count was a cliff hanger. Jessica Walker-Smith took out the award with a big finish in round 8 which turned out to be the team’s last game of the normal rounds due to Round 9’s game being forfeited by West Adelaide. Winning over Caitlyn Swanson by only 7 votes, whom did not play in round 8’s game.
