Extended Physio rates to Members ONLY

Players, supporters and staff,

I thought I would take the opportunity to introduce myself to the new group of players in both the seniors and under 19's and remind existing players of what services I will be providing the club for 2013.

I have been providing physiotherapy support for three seasons now. I first started with the club when we were back in Division 3 and have been happy to watch you progress into a club who should push for Division 1.

For season 2013, I will be attending the clubrooms weekly on a Tuesday night to provide assessment and advice of player injuries. For those guys who require advice or treatment sooner, I am more than happy to be contacted on a Saturday or Sunday after the game on 0412 216 785.

Integrated Health has made the commitment to the club to prioritise bookings for Mooroolbark players, so will be able to see anyone ASAP on a Monday's in our clinic.  Early diagnosis and treatment will assist in a faster return to training and games.

Our aim for the year should be to have the fewest number of games lost to injury in the EFL. This comes with good preparation and the program that Brett and Travis (Metabolic Personal Training) have put together looks outstanding.

The next step is to manage injuries well when they do occur. I will be working closely with Brett and Travis on this, to ensure a quick and safe return to playing.

All appointments through our clinic will be provided at a discounted rate and health insurance rebates can be claimed on site.

I am happy to extend this discount to club staff members and those who hold a 2013 Mustang's membership card.

Cheers, Cam Brown (Physiotherapist)

Comment Guidelines: The SportingPulse Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
