Small Sided Football Team Formation Guide 2014

U6’s

On the Team Identification day teams for u6’s will be formed where possible based on

the school the player attends unless other requests have been made. Ie: if a player attends

Kahibah Public school the club will endeavour where possible to place the player in a

team with other children from Kahibah Public School. (Approx 6 players per team

depending on numbers registered)

U7’s

On the Team Identification day teams for u7’s will be formed using players from the

previous year as the base & adding additional players (if required) to the team. Players from

the previous season have precedence over a new player wanting to join the team.

(Approx 6 players per team depending on numbers registered)

U8’s

On the Team Identification day teams for u8s will be formed using players from the

previous year as the base & adding additional players (if required) to the team. Players from

the previous season have precedence over a new player wanting to join the team.

(Approx 10 players per team depending on numbers registered)

U9’s

Introduction of Development Stream & Community Stream.

Players wishing to trial for a place in a development team can do so on dates provided by

the club. Players that do not wish to trial for a place in a development team or those that are

unsuccessful will on the Team Identification day form a team using players from the previous

year as the base & adding additional players (if required) to the team. Players from the

previous season have precedence over a new player wanting to join the team. (Approx 10

players per team depending on numbers registered).

U10’s and u11’s

Development Stream & Community Stream.
