CONGRATULATIONS SUE : FFV Volunteer of the year

Last month Loddon Mallee Lightning's Sue Fox was awarded Victorian Volunteer of the year at an FFV awards night in Melbourne. Sue's involvement in Soccer started the best part of a decade ago when son Tyson now 15 came home from school and said he wanted to play soccer, it all started from there. Sue's role with Lightning and local futsal in Swan Hill keep her busy over the summer while her name is synonomous with club soccer during the winter.

As treasurer of the club Sue's face may not be a familiar one to everyone as lots of her work is done behind the scenes although you will probably spot her in the canteen at home games. "I get great enjoyment out of seeing people able to play the game they love". " I would like to thanks those that nominated me for the award"

Congratulations Sue from all your friends at Lightning and good luck for the upcoming FFA Awards ceremony in Sydney!
